REFRESHING + MODERN
New York: For Pre-Collection 2015, designer David Koma unveiled a ‘bold, coherent vision for the new Mugler woman, transforming the house codes into a refreshed and vibrant wardrobe’. Inspired by the mid-century art movement of Lyrical Abstraction, Koma put forward a strong, tailored silhouette in a palette grounded in graphic monochrome contrasts. The origami folds and graphic ‘zig-zag’ embellishment provided dramatic depth and interest for the new, urban Mugler. A powerful step forward. – Lizzy Bowring
