The Spring/Summer 2018 Alexander McQueen show is always a notable talking point during Paris Fashion Week, and this season was no different. The show was held at a beautiful location, the Orangerie at the Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris. Creative Director Sarah Burton is best known for injecting a little more romance into the beautiful dark storytelling of the Alexander McQueen label. And this season the collection was even more beauty than horror, but the rock elements of McQueen prevailed, preventing the collection from being too pretty, too saccharine. The dresses were the key highlight, from tiered, exploded glass floral organza dresses to leather harnessed tapestry dresses, embroidered with garden roses.
Here are our favourite romantic/rock looks from Alexander McQueen for S/S18.
