GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN
Despite the many dark and subversive themes that have ruled the Junior market for the past few seasons, Moschino Cheap & Chic seems determined to put the fun back in fashion. Flowers, lace and plenty of pink kept the tone light and jubilant as models emerged from a giant heart-shaped opening against a bubblegum pink background. Pivotal to the Lolita-esque look was a plethora of prints, from all sorts of florals and classic polka dots to rainbow-infused checks and stripes. Giant fonts were used for messages such as “EVE,” “PEACE” and “SHOCKING!”, balancing out prim high-necked bow blouses. Bright white round glasses and kitschy costume jewelry topped off the eternally optimistic look that Cheap & Chic is known for.
