Moschino Cheap & Chic

MILAN… Rosella Jardini’s show for Moschino Cheap and Chic was much more conceptual than usual, featuring cheeky elements like belts which don’t close, hybrid shoes and other trompe l’oeil effects. These techniques didn’t distract from the clothing, which brought a lot of shine and color to the runway, through items like abstractly printed pink dresses and blue foil boleros. Although this season was on the sophisticated side for juniors, the dressy pieces had enough flirtatious allure for the younger customer, with nicely on-trend silhouettes and energetic colors and cuts. Look to Moschino for dressed up inspiration this season.
