Moncler Warms Up Tokyo

Just in time for the chilly winds of fall, Tokyo’s luxe Aoyama shopping district is now home to the brand-new Moncler flagship store.  A study in dark wood and black metal, this simple 230 square meter space is filled with some of the best coats and outerwear on the market; Moncler’s signature pieces are absolutely worth every yen. In operation since 1954, this French company outfitted the Italian expedition team that first reached the summit of K2, securing their reputation as one of the world’s foremost manufacturers of crazy-warm coats.

Nowadays, Moncler presents a wide range of apparel and accessories that go way beyond the puffer coats they’re known for. The new Tokyo flagship store carries both their men’s and women’s collections, in addition to diffusion lines from Moncler Gamme Bleu by Thom Browne, Moncler S by Chitose Abe, Moncler Gamma Rough by Giambattista Valli, Moncler Grenoble and Moncler V by Hiroki Nakamura.
