ON THE HUNT
Milan: Thom Browne looked towards English fox hunting for his F/W 11 collection. Held in a riding rink, the show was full of proper uniforms and even featured foxhounds – the ultimate luxe accessory. Since the tailored suit originated with hunting clothing of the 18th Century, the sport seemed a natural focus for Browne’s collaboration with this active label; the timeless and traditional sportsmen styles melded perfectly with the designer’s penchant for contemporary tailoring.
