New York: Francisco Costa’s signature clean lines produced an organically sleek and polished look for S/S 15. White, ivory, indigo, burgundy and shades of black generated stark contrasts that enhanced slender body-skimming silhouettes. Metallic silver yarns created luxe shimmering surfaces taking ensembles from day to night. Brighter primary colours were pulled from Andy Warhol’s portraits of Mao Zedong. All in all, this was a precise collection full of long layering and approachable elegance with an edge. –Deirdre Pérez
