Model of the moment Coco Rocha has embarked on a side project as a jewelry designer, with her first collection debuting yesterday in conjunction with charity initiative Senhoa.
The move into design was fueled by Rocha’s desire to help survivors of human trafficking in Cambodia. Working in conjunction with Senhoa, a company that supports victims of human trafficking by providing income generating employment, the philanthropic model has created a collection of 7 pieces using Swarovski crystals, all handmade by the victims.
Striking chain-based items are at the heart of the line, with stand-out pieces such as the necklace harness and crystal horn decorated bracelet encompassing the mood of current jewelry trends.
Calling on industry friends Rocha enlisted Iman and Caroline Trentini to model and fashion photographer Nigel Barker to shoot the campaign for the range.
The collection is available now from Senhoa.
