THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST

Paris: For his F/W 11 collection, Japanese designer Miharayasuhiro took inspiration from the notoriously provocative 19th century poet and playwright (and dandy) Oscar Wilde. Tailored constructions in jersey presented a draped and relaxed aesthetic for a new take on formal. The refined collection confirmed the designer’s reputation for creating clothes with an intrinsic vintage charm — garments that authentically read as if they came from a different time.
