We do love MiH; the brand resurrected by British designer Chloe Lonsdale is the modern reincarnation of the popular 70s denim brand “Made in Heaven.” We love their 70s vibe that nods to the brand’s roots and think that this sneak peak at the S/S 12 collection has a touch of the late 60s about it too. Top Blogger Vanessa Jackman was invited to be a fly on the wall at the shoot and took these great behind the scenes images:
The standout piece of the collection has to be the A-Line bright red-cast culottes as pictured above left and below – we saw it at the recent Project, Las Vegas trade show the other week and its a great look. We also loved their new wide legged, pleat front denim trousers and their bold, high-waisted flares; check out our photos of the S/S 12 collection in the Stylesight Image Library.
The lookbook was shot at Sola Studios in West London with gorgeous Lithuanian model, Beegee. Designer Chloe Lonsdale is goddaughter of the original owner of Made in Heaven, and daughter of London’s legendary “Jean Machine” shop founder Tony Lonsdale.
