London: Michael van der Ham is spreading his wings this season, as the St. Martins graduate sent another appealing collection down the catwalk for his third collection. The concept was simple but wholeheartedly appealing: easy, chic basics, that are enlivened by a range of cleverly constructed piecing and high-contrast collage prints. Though not overly conceptual, Van der Ham’s wit and intuition for what a woman really wants to wear was evident in his sleek, simple shapes and acute sense of color and print. —Shannon Davenport
