New York: Michael Kors was celebrating his 30th year in fashion this year, and he pulled out all the Kors favorites to commemorate the occasion in his Fall 2011 collection. Returning to the luxe disco 70s that forged his career, the collection was pure Kors down to the deep V-necks, shimmering draped sequins, smart tailored pantsuits and sumptuous furs. Those looking for directional pieces may need go elsewhere, but for those wanting to be ensconced in the unadulterated uptown luxury of a (perhaps) bygone era, Kors is still king.
