Designer, entrepreneur, vintner and restaurateur, Roberto Cavalli is a celebrated icon known the world over for his passion and vibrancy. The fashion guru has unveiled his latest addition to the Cavalli empire, a South Beach Restaurant & Lounge sure to become the Miami go-to for dining, drinking and celeb spotting. Designed in collaboration with Italian architect Italo Rota, the lavish two-story space blends Cavalli’s signature flair with that of a Tuscan villa. Enter through to vibrant colors, exquisite textiles, Murano glass imported from Venice and floors made from fine Italian marble found only in Italy’s Massa Carrare caves. The upstairs is dedicated to the ultra chic bar & lounge, and is completed with steel fixtures, grand chandeliers, silk couches and animal print chairs.

The food here pays homage to Cavalli’s Italian roots and is headed by Executive Chef Stefano Mazzi. The menu presents an innovative take on traditional Italian cuisine, featuring dishes such as Mediterranean octopus carpaccio, Tuscan Chianina beef tartare and a decadent lobster consommé with caviar and house-made crème fraîche. The cocktail list features the designer’s self-titled vodka and a range of sexy concoctions. Naturally, this is South Beach’s latest place to see and be seen.
