Menswear Monday: The Boys of Southern France

The South of France is known for its breathtaking beaches, rich history and star-studded film festival. It’s also known as the summer playground of the rich, who tend to be decently dressed and more than willing to pose for a camera. And so, Stylesight’s ridiculously lucky European correspondents Cassi and Lyndsey just spent the past few weeks hitting up Nice, Monte Carlo, Cannes and Saint Tropez in pursuit of their most stylish denizens. Today’s edition of Menswear Monday is brought to you by some of those very same denizens, denizens of the male persuasion who’d like nothing more than to show you what the South of France has to offer (lucky you).

Leave your quaint hotel and join this pastel lad for your morning café au lait before starting your day off right with some shopping. But he’s not into your plans, so you say ‘au revior’ and scan the patio for a partner in crime.

Who better to take you shopping than this accessory-laden gent? Bust out yer credit card and get fabulous!

After depositing your finds at the hotel, you run into a couple of heirs who beg you to join them on their yacht for lunch. So you do and it’s wonderful to be out on the open sea, looking good and feeling gorgeous.

But the heirs’ mindless chatter starts to bore you. Luckily, back on land you run into this tattooed dude who just wants to take you around on his Vespa, which doesn’t require any talking at all.

After all that adventure, you’re in need of some downtime. Grab an espresso with this guy and just chill out.

You’re so chilled out that you attract the attention of France’s wealthiest hippie, who shows you his art (bad), makes you dinner (organic) and generally solidifies your belief that the South of France is indeed a beautiful place.
