Menswear Monday: Pinned Down

At this point in the game, you probably know that I’m a sucker for two things: menswear and accessories. When these two glorious worlds collide, it’s almost too much for me to handle. Today’s Menswear Monday brings you one of my favorite ideas for fall: the lapel pin. What better way to highlight that perfect corduroy blazer or plaid jacket than with jewelry! Or, if you’re a man’s man and the ‘j’ word gets you down, think of lapel pins as wearable art, a simple way to let the world (and the ladies) know that you’re willing to make the extra effort to look awesome. The best thing about lapel pins is how easy and cheap they are to find. Check out thrift stores and flea markets, keeping in mind that women’s pins are fair game. Or, get creative and fashion your own for some truly wearable art. To inspire you, here are some examples from the fall runways, straight from Stylesight.
