Our editors have just come back to the office, after being out and about at one of the biggest menswear shows in Europe, Pitti Uomo. The trade show is a key place to discover new talent and emerging menswear lines that offer something fresh and new to the market.
One such brand that was discovered at Pitti last week, was JBJ Handembroidered, the ready-to-wear men’s line, created by Jupe by Jackie.
The men’s line offers up a mix of hand embroidered shirts, t-shirts, sweats and polo’s, that are totally Instagram worthy, and in fact their Instagram account is packed full of the mini videos showing how each design is made and created from scratch on fine Japanese cotton.
The line itself is only 9 weeks old, and for S/S17 the designs range from hand embroidered hipster glasses to John Lennon. The collection displays a lighthearted, fun, cartoon like approach to design, in neutral colourways.
