Menswear street style inspiration

The baton has been handed over from London’s menswear shows to Milan for S/S17, where Ferragamo and Prada have dazzled the crowds at the shows this week, but while all eyes were on the stunning looks showcased on the catwalk, there was also some serious outfit inspiration to be had outside the tents.

Street style in Milan is often a sea of conventional silhouettes, it feels as if its the home of the polished gentleman, a classic trench coat here, a leather briefcase there, but this season the influence of activewear is coming through strong. The classic looks spotted on the pavement, are weaved in with more relaxed, playful and sports-inspired looks, think Gucci fur-lined loafers and hand customised denim jackets,  Ferragamo sweaters and all white sneakers.

It’s inspiration galore, here are our favourite street style looks so far.
