Men’s Shopping Habits

Continuing their quest to create the ultimate boys’ club, J. Crew has opened their third men’s-only store, this one located in Soho, New York. Simply called The Men’s Shop, it’s the ultimate collection of the brand’s must-have items, carefully secured vintage product (some of it for sale), and amazing collaborations with traditional brands like Mason Shirtings, Mackintosh, Barracuta, Red Wing, Sperry, Alden, Colchester, and many more. The back of the store has the company’s first-ever Suit Shop with all the possible options for tailored clothing, some never before available in stores. The space, formerly a newsstand, doesn’t yet have the broken-in aesthetic of one of the other men’s stores, the Liquor Store. The reclaimed knotty-pine fixtures are untreated, encouraging them to weather quickly. In the meantime, the mood is set with vintage decor, from magazines and books to pencil sharpeners and staplers. Located at 484 Broadway, NYC.
