Media: Twin Magazine

We love the new Spring/ Summer issue of U.K.-based fashion and art magazine Twin, released last week. Founded by former creative director of Lula, Becky Smith and Aimee Farrell of Vogue U.K., Twin is a biannual style magazine featuring an intriguing and well-edited mix of art, culture and fashion photography.

Offering a slow-paced, refined and reflective look at fashion and art, Twin is a delightful antidote to the fast- paced world of blogging, tweeting and commercial high-street fashion.

A fusion between a book and a magazine, the hardcover issue four was released last week, with the over-arching theme “the power and expectation of youth”. In the feature “The Year of Discontent,” photographer Clare Shilland photographs young women who are fighting for their educational rights. Fashion duo Rodarte as well as designer Meadham Kirchoff share their inspirations and it girl/actress Chloe Sevigny is interviewed in her New York apartment. Intellectual as well as visual, Twin has been described as the fashionable face of feminism and we couldn’t agree more.
