Media: Track Your Happiness Results

The Harvard scientists behind Track Your Happiness, an iPhone app that set out to sample people’s feelings and track levels of greater happiness based on their activities recently released results in Science Magazine.

Matthew Killingsworth and Daniel Gilbert concluded that “a wandering mind is an unhappy mind”, ultimately, whatever activity a person was engaged in was less important and less indicative of happiness if his or her mind was somewhere else.

The use of an iphone application allowed the Track Your Happiness team to generate a larger sample size and create a more personalized data mining relationship with participants.
