Meadham Kirchoff have slowly built a reputation in London for dark, urban and creative work, such as their popular deconstructed denim jackets and split knee pants. A softer direction emerged in their S/S 10 collection, as the duo combined tough black suiting with airy layers of chiffon, structured metallic tees and tiered ruffles. Elevating street-worthy basics with couture touches continued, such as a scattering of tiny velvet bows on a transparent skirt, and artful gathers for a black tunic that could double as a dress. With a well balanced combination of dark menswear and light dresses, Meadham Kirchoff brings disparate Junior trends together to create their own new style.
