With all eyes on the G20 Summit last week, denim gurus G-Star highlighted their efforts to end poverty in this month’s Paris retail windows. During the Spring/Summer 2009 runway show, G-Star debuted the first New York edition of the global G-Star Raw Night series, on behalf of the UN Millennium Campaign. The focus was to express the importance and commitments made by world leaders to achieve the Millennium Development Goals and end extreme poverty by 2015, in word and song. The event also featured an MDG room where guests took action by sending digital messages of support for the Millennium Development Goals to Heads of State.
