Milan: With airy 70s-inspired silhouettes and modern color-blocking, MaxMara’s Bianca Jagger-inspired C/R 12 collection conjured images of the Nicaraguan-born beauty’s 1971 wedding to Mick in St. Tropez, where the couple both wore tailored suits. Crisp, flared trousers, palazzo pants and boxy tunics served as easy-to-wear takes on the disco decade’s swanky shapes, and a palette that crossed rosy browns with bold pinks and bright white felt fresh. Both classic and modern, basic sheath and shift dresses and simple separates stayed true to the label’s characteristically unfussy aesthetic. –Whitney Kessler
