Milan: Creative Director Ian Griffiths drew inspiration from twentieth century style icons such as the war correspondent Lee Miller, Dominique Sanda and Eileen Gray for what was a collection about utilitarian dressing –  “Functional, but at the same time desirable.” No Max Mara collection would be complete without the use of house’s the signature rich and luxurious fabrics. – Lizzy Bowring
