NEW YORK…One of the most energetic designers working today, Matthew Williamson’s work is always alive with color and print each season. For his New York S/S 09 show, the British talent stuck to a mostly abbreviated silhouette, focusing on minis and little dresses with pockets, shine, sparkle and vibrancy. In addition to the short stuff, tight knee length shorts and the ubiquitous jumper were in attendance, along with a host of motorcycle jackets. Williamson’s collection is an excellent resource for inspiration applicable to Juniors this season.
