London: Portuguese design duo, Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida, have only a few collections under their belt, but they have already become popular with street style stars like Elena Perminova. For inspiration for their spring collection, the designers imagined rebellious teens from decades past. Frayed edges and uneven hemlines made items feel appealingly nonchalant, though jackets and light coats were cut precisely, keeping the collection from looking sloppy. White and pale mint pieces made from frayed cotton or airy chiffon had an ethereal look, and patches of shaggy lavender fur added texture. –Joanna Manganaro
