Maritime utility creates modern fusion at Peter Som

New York: Peter Som combined utility and function with maritime cool. Wrap aprons were layered over shirtdresses and skirts to add a unique layered effect almost reminiscent of a waitress. Wraps came in basic solids and prints with contrasting elevated crochet styles with 3D appliqué. Nautical influences came into play with broad horizontal stripe double-breasted blazers, relaxed resort pants, and swimsuits layered beneath matte PVC raincoats. Navy, cream, olive, and red were the core colors in shadow florals, stripes, and solids, reinforcing the utility and maritime influence. –Jaclyn Jones
