New York: Mara Hoffman presented a lively, print-focused collection for Cruise/Resort 2013. Graphic geometrics and leopard prints coexisted with a bright, tribal motif that recalled the work of Keith Haring. Hoffman also used appliqués to create designs for t-shirts. There were a variety of covetable dresses, from patterned sweater shifts to voluminous midi styles to body-hugging versions with sexy cutouts. Printed tees and tapered pants rounded out the collection. The upbeat mood, striking prints, and range of separates are sure to appeal to Hoffman’s clients. –Joanna Manganaro
