Madewell Denim Roadtrip

We love those vintage silver airstream vans, and now that festival season has kicked off we’re getting itchy for a road trip. It seems like we’re not the only ones: J.Crew’s little sister brand Madewell has hijacked a huge vintage airstream and is taking it on a denim road trip of the U.S. over the next few weeks.

The van is decked out with wooden floors, traditional ticking stripe fabric awnings, vintage knick knacks, three dressing rooms, a styling station, hair braiding bar and of course, all the amazing denim that the brand is known for. The goal is to get their jeans on girls all across the country, and starting today in New York City they are kicking off their 14-city tour (concentrating on cities that don’t have a Madewell stand-alone) which will end in Seattle on May 20th.

The Airstream’s first stop is at Astor Place today, from noon to 7 p.m, so head down after work if you live in N.Y.!
