Collaboration-savvy brand Proenza Schouler is at it again. Fashion editors have obsessed over the denim and releases with J Brand done seasons ago. Now enter MAC Cosmetics and say hello to one of the most exciting mash up makeup projects since MAC Viva Glam made Lady Gaga a face.
Inspired by Proenza Schouler’s past runway collections, the packaging for the fashion-inspired makeup line promises to be packed with ombre face powders, lipsticks, Pro Longwear eye liners and lip pencils, nail lacquers in Proenza-inspired shades and a luxe limited-edition 129SE powder brush.
“Beauty has always played a huge role in what we do on the runway and MAC has been one of our biggest supporters,” says Proenza Schouler designers, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez.
“We wanted to create something that the Proenza Schouler woman could relate to off the runway, and the MAC brand is so deeply rooted in fashion that we knew they would understand our vision.”
– Glynnis Mapp, Stylesight Beauty Editor
