Luxury sportswear at No. 21

Milan: Alessandro Dell’Acqua adapted straightforward sportswear with casual tailoring for his latest offering. His interpretation of sportswear shapes was a luxury version of North European style. The designer brought flair of casual elegance throughout the collection – rich knits were combined with opulent brocades and technical fabrics beautifully. Elegant trousers came sharply tailored and tapered. Knitwear stood out – crewnecks, cardigans and outerwear came in plush textures and bright coloured mélange wools. The moody colour palette of black and blue was enlivened by hints of camel, yellow and orange. The result felt youthful with an elegant edge, achieved by introducing all those premium materials to sport-infused tailored garments and shapes. – Diego Sanchez
