Italian company Emmebiesse caught our eye last season at the Paris trade shows with their fashion-driven bathwear and beachwear lines, Luna di Giorno and Caterina D. Accustomed to providing chic bathrobes, towels, cover ups, slippers and coordinating accessories to high-end shops, the label just opened their first flagship boutique in the historic center of Sirmione (on the beautiful Lake Garda), in G. Piana street 6.
With a rich heritage in textiles for the home that dates back to 1967, Emmebiesse elevates bath-to-beachwear beyond the basic terry and linen. For S/S 2012, bath goods go luxe with vibrant colors, eyelet borders and dimensional appliqués; while beach dresses look fresh and alluring in crisp white cottons and placed Mediterranean-inspired prints.
