Louise Goldin

LONDON…Louise Goldin is known for her visionary knitwear, piecing together structures which look like armor in bright or patterned designs. This season, the designer took her work in another direction, trying a more somber palette and the addition of leather. The resulting pieces were still edgy and young, with a body conscious silhouette and intricate detailing. Exposed shoulders, tulip skirts and shimmery thread all stood out, as did loose outerwear and a subtly striped and pleated dress.  Consider Louise Goldin as inspiration for both forward looking juniors knits and directional silhouettes.
