Hot on the heels of a successful pop-up shop on West 3rd, men’s boutique Wittmore has just opened a permanent location right down the street. Originally an online retailer based in NYC, founder Paul C. Witt has relocated to L.A. to debut his first brick-and-mortar store. Holding various jobs in the fashion industry for the past 16 years, the man knows his stuff, and the stark space is filled with his careful edit of unique brands from around the world. Apparel from Gant Rugger, Splendid Mills, Fred Perry Laurel Wreath, and Timo Weiland hangs on triangular racks, while accessories from Norse Projects, Mansai by Michael Saiger, Monsieur Gris are available to complete the laid-back looks Wittmore espouses. This is a must-see men’s wear destination that’s set to be a hit.—Ashley Churchill
