Relive ’80s and ’90s childhood nostalgia at Los Angeles’ first barcade (bar + arcade) in Downtown’s Arts District. Conceived by native Angelenos Scott Davids and Noah Sutcliffe, EightyTwo features a main room dedicated to restored classic arcade games, a side room housing vintage pinball machines and a spacious outdoor patio connecting the two. Expect classic games such as Tron, Asteroids, Pacman and Super Off Road at the nostalgic price of one or two quarters, each equipped with its own handy drink holder. The cocktail list reads as a nod to nerd culture, with drinks such as Princess Peach, n00b and Wizard Mode. The bar also serves up cold brew coffee cocktails to keep you going through marathon sessions of Street Fighter II.
