After an eight-month long renovation, the Dior boutique on Rodeo Drive is now open, and it is simply stunning. Even if goods from the famed French house are a tad out of your price range, if you’re in Los Angeles and looking for retail inspiration, it’s worth just taking a peek around the 5,000-square-foot space. Designed by Peter Marino, this boutique now echos the look and feel of Dior’s worldwide flagship on Paris’ Avenue Montaigne, featuring specially-commissioned artworks alongside fixtures and furniture inspired by the 18th-century. The first floor is filled with ready-to-wear and boasts a fireplace and seating area, adjacent to a room reserved especially for jewelry. To celebrate the grand re-opening of the Rodeo Drive boutique, several exclusive pieces were created, including a magical cuff comprised of gold stars. Speaking of stars, don’t be surprised if you see one trekking upstairs to the VIP salon, where pieces from Raf Simons’ first two collections are available. xx Ashley Churchill
