In business since May as an online retailer, Los Angeles-based menswear purveyor Buck Mason has opened its first-ever store. A minimalist cottage in the beachy Venice neighborhood houses the brand’s utilitarian basics, from perfect T-shirts and button-ups to selvedge denim that only gets better with time. Channeling the effortless cool of icons such as Jack Kerouac and Bob Dylan, all of Buck Mason’s timeless apparel is made in L.A. at an independent production facility that’s been in operation for almost 25 years. Well-made staples designed for every man are what this new brand is all about. -Ashley Churchill
