Not necessarily breaking news, but it definitely had our ears up to hear Longchamp would be launching a full footwear collection for Fall, and now we have a closer look at some styles from their selection.
Their Pliage bag is known worldwide as a staple in every [NY] woman’s accessory collection, and by looking at the styles offered for fall it seems the brand is aiming to create new staples for our feet as well.
The designs complement the Longchamp woman, with clean lines and exquisite leathers. The brand has partnered with Galleries Lafayette and Printemps Hausmann for the distribution in addition to being available at the label’s boutiques worldwide starting in July.
All lasts look sensible and perfect for day-to-evening with soft almond toe lasts and mid-height heels. The autumnal palette features deep teal, Bordeaux, cognac, cranberry and basic black. The use of python and understated saddle-inspired details look sleek and elegant, while staying true to the brand’s heritage and identity. -Jenn Tello
