On May 27th 2017, the V&A will open the first ever UK exhibition exploring the work of Cristóbal Balenciaga and his continuing influence on modern fashion.

Here’s 3 reasons why you should pre-order your Balenciaga exhibition ticket now.

1. Discover the unseen

Be one of the first to preview over 100 garments and hats, many of which have never been seen by the public including garments made for Hollywood Icons, Ava Gardner and Gloria Guinness, as well as some of fashion’s biggest names.

2.Technology meets Fashion: Tech geeks rejoice! In collaboration with x-ray artist, Nick Veasey, the V&A takes a forensic look at the details inside Cristóbal Balenciaga’s garments. Be warned – all is not as it seems.

3. From Cristóbal to Demna.
See the influence of Balenciaga’s vision over the years, from the likes of CoCo Chanel to Hubert de Givenchy, to recent garments by contemporary designers including JW Anderson and current Creative Director Demna Gvasalia ( those boxy-shoulder blazers aren’t quite as modern as you may think! )
