A stunning exhibition by British fashion photographer Tim Walker opened at one of our favorite London art venues, Somerset House, last week. Entitled Story Teller, the exhibition coincides with the Thames & Hudson book (by the same name), showcasing over 175 images of the imaginative photographer’s work. Displaying a selection of Walker’s most of acclaimed pictures, the exhibition includes portraits of fierce fashion personalities including Alexander McQueen and Tilda Swinton as well as inspirational fashion editorials for magazines such as Vogue and Vanity Fair.
Inspired by fairytales, daydreams and film sets, Walker is known for his humorous approach to fashion, attention to detail and bespoke specially constructed environments. Creating a fabulous world of color, fashion and pure imagination, this exhibition is well worth a visit if you are in London town. – Anna Jacobsen
Free admission- open to 27th Jan 2013
