Fashion Week need-to-knows: Milan retail
Feb 19, 2019 | By Alice Gividen
BLEACH founders Alex Brownsell and Sam Teasdale’s East London Empire continues with the addition of The BLEACH Bar, just a few doors down from their cult Dalston-based hair salon. Open until October 11th, the girls’ bar will be providing Londoner’s with colourful cocktails and snacks by TART including ‘future classics’ such as The Slushino, Ratmilk and Wonky Direction. The bar’s interior was designed by set designer David White, best known for his work with design houses including Vivienne Westwood, Kenzo, Louis Vuitton and Acne, as well as his themes of a Chinese restaurant brought to life with Asian imagery, overt fashion branding and East London. The result is described as a ‘Blade Runner-esque, psychedelic acid trip with a nod to enter the Void’s Asian clubbing and city visuals.’ -Emily Cater
