London’s luxury hotel boom shows no sign of slowing down with the newest addition, Rosewood London, opening next week in the British capital. Set in a prime central location close to Covent Garden, the Edwardian Grade-II listed building houses 262 luxury rooms and 44 suites, a restaurant, bar, deli, spa and no less than 11 event spaces. Designed by Martin Brudnizki (the creative brain behind Dean Street Town House and Hix) the restaurant, fittingly named the Holborn Dining Room, is an all-day brasserie serving contemporary British cuisine and features historic interior design details such as reclaimed oak paneling and antique mirrors. Mixing English heritage with a contemporary finish, the Rosewood bedrooms sport a calming color scheme with earthy hues including soft grey, walnut and coffee. Mid-century-inspired furniture mixed with marble and wood flooring add an understated luxurious feel to London’s newest five-star hotel. -Anna Jacobsen
