Making the most of this year’s glorious British summer, Smokey Tails is a pop-up eatery and bar located in upcoming Hackney Wick, spontaneously opened in the middle of August. Located just by the canal in this slightly eerie yet hip industrial area, Smokey Trails offers stylish wooden decks, beautiful canal views and great BBQ style dinners. Inspired by Detroit style BBQs, the food on offer consists of smoked and barbequed meats as well as an impressive cocktail list. A collaborative project between six creative friends, Smokey Tails is open Thursday- Sunday until “the end of the summer” (we are hoping this won’t be anytime soon). – Anna Jacobsen
