Boasting breathtaking panoramic views of London, newly opened Hutong is located in the spectacular Shard building, seconds from London Bridge station. Opened at the end of June, Hutong can be found on the 33rd floor, serving a delicious selection of contemporary Northern Chinese cuisine. Signature dishes include the “Red Lantern”- crispy soft shell crab with Sichuan dried chili, roasted Peking duck and crunchy deboned lamb ribs. An eight-piece Dim Sum platter is also available and includes delights such as the Rosé Champagne Shrimp Dumpling. Following a similar concept to the sister restaurant in Hong Kong (by the same name), Hutong is another success in the making run by David Yeo, creative director of the Aqua restaurant group. The sleek interiors contribute to the glamorous vibe, with traditional red lanterns, handcrafted wood paneling and 1940s tea canisters adding to the decadent setting. Be sure to book in advance for this new London gourmet location. –Anna Jacobsen
