With the recent opening of the David Bowie exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London continues to go crazy for all things Bowie this spring. Most recent is the Selfridges David Bowie is All Yours concept retail space, a clever collaboration between the V&A and the renowned department store. Featuring a selection of Bowie merchandise, the pop-up offers V&A bespoke exhibition merchandise, limited edition prints and T-shirts, as well as a collection of Bowie-inspired original vintage 60s and 70s garments. Curated by L.A. vintage expert Decades, colorful vintage gems include Pierre Cardin, Lanvin and Kansai Yamamoto frocks, all inspired by the current Bowie exhibition. A selection of contemporary designers inspired by the musical prodigy including Peter Pilotto, Alexander McQueen and queen of prints, Mary Katranzou, are also available to purchase, as well as limited-edition Bowie prints by Brian Duffy, vintage magazines and books featuring Bowie and a selection of iconic albums by the celebrate artist including Aladdin Sane and Space Oddity. Feeling extra creative? Why not try one of the Bowie-inspired makeup master classes run by Illamasqua’s creative director Alex Box. — Anna Jacobsen
