Part of the UK Coffee Week, the London Coffee Festival runs through the 27-29th of this month, celebrating the capital’s ever-growing artisan coffee scene for the second year running. The packed weekend schedule includes a selection of gourmet coffee and food stands, coffee tastings and workshops, the UK Barista Championships as well as live music events. 12,000 visitors are expected to attend the event, which is open to the public as well as a meeting hub for coffee-industry professionals including baristas and coffee-shop owners.
Spread across London, venues include Hyde Park and Soho locations with the main venue at The Old Truman Brewery in Shoreditch. Kicking off with an espresso Martini launch party in collaboration with Hackney Globe Trotter, tickets can be purchased here, and with *50% of the tickets sales going to Project Waterfall, an initiative providing communities in Tanzania with clean water, you don’t even have to feel bad about your increasing caffeine addiction. – Anna Jacobsen
