London beauty spots: Three places to freshen up during fashion week

Burberry Prorsum

It’s getting to that point in London Fashion Week – not to mention Fashion Month – where you start to feel like a spruce is in order. A manicure, a really good blowdry, a hot shave or beard tidy. Thankfully, there are three spots in Soho that will freshen you up and get you back to your sharp self within an hour – ready for the next show or city…

1. Sketch LFW Special
9 Conduit Street
The David Shrigley-designed restaurant has teamed up with Mayfair hair institution Four London for a breakfast salon which pairs blow dries with coffee, pastries and fresh fruit. £25 for a half hour spritz – not too shabby.

2. blow Ltd
8 Slingsby Place
Get fast beauty on demand with the new blow LTD app. Book last minute appointments from the FROW and head to its Covent Garden salon for a blow dry, mani-pedi or make-up touch-up. It’s like having a personal stylist on call from morning till night.

3. Murdock London
83 Brewer Street
Newly opened, gentlemen can pop in for a quick beard trim or the full works, squeezing in an express facial as a little between-show refresher too. Beer and whisky are helpfully on hand..
