Purple lips emerged as a key make-up look at this summer’s festivals and I see this rich colour continuing to be popular as we go into autumn.

This week I have chosen Dolce & Gabbana’s Classic Cream Lipstick in Purple Passion as my lipstick love. This new colour is part of the brand’s autumn #dglovesfall make-up collection and dare I say, it is a pretty bold colour choice to wear for day.

The buildable colour coverage allows you to go from sheer to bold, while the rich moisturising formula ensures lips are left soft and supple. It also smells good too – the lipstick is lightly fragranced with the brand’s signature rose scent.

For the less brave, I recommend wearing this lipstick in the evening and teaming the look with a single black lined eye.
