Finding the perfect nude lipstick is like searching for the right foundation match for your skin. Pick the wrong shade and it can make you look pale, tired and washed out. But the key is to find a tone that complements your skin and hair and I think I have finally found the perfect one for me.

This week’s lipstick love goes to Topshop for their lip colour in Mink. This dusty-pink brown shade is neither matte nor too glossy and the buttery melt-onto-the-lip texture leaves a lovely creamy sheen, which is very flattering. The hint of brown adds warmth to my complexion and the pink gives a soft freshness.

A wearable neutral shade for both day and night, this colour actually suits all skin tones. Work this nude lip with soft brown eyes for day or teamed with dark, smoky eyelids for a 90’s inspired grungy look for night. Also, at a bargain price of only £8, this lipstick won’t break the bank balance.
