We capped off a busy trade show season yesterday high above the Midtown hustle in the tranquil loft space of The Lingerie Collective. In its third season in New York (the event originated several years ago in London), the boutique trade show produced its most polished, cohesive effort to date, bringing together some of the finest brands across the globe. They included labels we already admired earlier in the trade show season, such as Velvette and Madame SuperTrash, as well as a few gems that hadn’t yet popped up on our radar.

This show specializes in luxury and the cutting edge of creativity – as in peach-skin silks, body-hugging leather, millefleur inspired by the psychedelic imagery of The Magic Garden of Stanley Sweetheart and nostalgic 70s-era leotards. Against the roughen New York skyline on a sunny winter’s day, we captured the rich colors and textures of The Lingerie Collective.
